Conceived by Demeter

Carried in Hades’ arms

Pregnant with her love.

When Hades brought her home

Was that where she began

Sleeping in his arms

One more night.

The field of lily cloth

The cloak soaked in grief

Separating life from death

The queen maiden turned

Returned
